PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION FORM

Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained directly, in person, from the office of this institute by paying cash Rs. 300/- (Non-refundable) or by sending DD of Rs. 300/- (Non-refundable) drawn in the name of “Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering", payable at Pune only. Please mention your name and address unambiguously on the reverse of the DD.

Indira IAE will not be responsible for non-delivery or non-receipt of Prospectus/Application Form sent through Post or Courier Services.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission to the course shall be on the basis of "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE". No entrance test is required.
Applications for admission are made available in the prescribed form along with the prospectus at the institute.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to course should submit their application forms, complete in all respect, together with necessary documents to the institute.
Foreign national and NRI candidates seeking admission for the course should submit the necessary security clearance document from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India through DGCA.
Any incomplete application and/ or not accompanied with the prescribed documents shall not be considered for admission.
The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board indicating the date of interview. Distant students shall be intimated by letter. Candidates failing to report on scheduled date & time, will lose the claim for admission and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.
After scrutiny of documents and fees amount paid, Admission Letter will be issued to the individual.

Fee charged by the Airlines/Maintenance Repair & Overhaul for On Job Training will be paid by individual student.
Hostel: Institute offers Hostel and Mess Facilities separate for boys and girls (Hostel and Mess charges extra)
10% concession in tution fee for girl candidate
Whole Third Year Fee must be paid before 5th Semester Start.
If any student scores top rank for two consecutive semesters would get 50% concession in the next semester tution fee.
All Fee must be paid before commencement of Semester classes.
No request for relaxation of structured fee amount or payment schedule shall be allowed. Any exception made on the subject shall purely be at the discretion of the Management/Chief Instructor and no question or query shall be raised.
The management has the right to modify or amend the or mode of payment, as the circumstance warrant, before the commencement of any fresh academic session i.e. fresh semester and no question thereof in this regard.
Fees once paid are neither refundable nor transferrable.
STUDENT UNIFORM :
All AME students are to wear the uniform, as per the uniform guideline of this institute.
Overhaul is a must during practical classes.
GENERAL RULES FOR STUDENTS UNDERTAKING AME COURSE :
1. Admission Based on Documents
All admissions are made on the basis of the information furnished in the Application Form and the supported documents submitted by the applicants. If found, false and/or misleading information if any, shall make him/her ineligible for Admission to/or discontinuing the AME Course and subsequent disciplinary action, considered necessary by the appropriate authorities, will be taken. Whatever the fees paid will have to be forfeited in such cases
Every applicant will have to get himself/ herself medically examined by a Registered Medical Practitioner (holding at least MBBS degree) and Medical Fitness & Colour Vision Certificate on prescribed form and must be produced along with the completed application form.
2. Possession of Books
It is a regulation of the DGCA that each AME student must possess ones’ personal copies of the core books on the subjects.
The books may be purchased by the student(s) directly from the distributor or they may seek the assistance from the institute. Student must have their own books within one month from the date of admission.
  (Note: Other books, as recommended by DGCA, for the course are also available in the institute library and may be borrowed the same as per the library rules).
3. Personal Tool Kits
Each student shall maintain his/her own tool kit for practical work.
The student shall have to purchase a basic took kit at the time of commencing the first semester.
The basic tool kit shall have to be incremented at each successive semester so that they shall have full tool kit to undertake field work on aircraft during the final semester.
4. Attendance
Students must occupy themselves in respective classes, at least five minutes, before commencement of the class.
Students shall not leave the class or be absent unless prior permission sought from respective Batch in-charge/ instructor.
Regular absenteeism should be avoided. No subject portion/topic shall be repeated in which one is absent.
Student should have been present for at least 80% of the training period without which one is allowed to appear in the semester examination. NO RELAXATION IN THIS REGARD BE GIVEN WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION OF DGCA.
5. Discipline & Conduct
Students will be governed by the rules & regulations laid down y the institute and amended from time to time.
Disciplined & decent behavior is expected within the institute campus and hostel as well
Smoking, Tobacco chewing, consumption of alcohol, intoxicants or sedative drugs in the institute premises and hostel is forbidden. Action against offenders will be initiated as per the law.
Possession and/or use of mobile phone during class hours is prohibited. Seizure of mobile phone or penalty or both shall be applicable, if one is found guilty.
Student shall have to pay for damages made to the institutional property.
Student shall be expelled out if found one is involved in anti-social, anti-national or illegal activities
Any change(s) to the information furnished in the application form shall have to be intimated without delay
6. Refund Policy
Registration fee will not be refundable in any case
50% of the tuition fee will be refunded is admission is canceled within 10 days from the date of Registration after commencement of the course no fees will be refunded.
Any Student leaving the institute midway shall pay his/her entire fees for whole academic year
If any refunded from institute regarding cancellation will be cleared after 10th Sept. of Academic year
Note:- The Management reserves the right to Cancel the admission and rusticate the candidate from college and hostel if found involved in any discipline matter and fraud activities. The decision of management will be final and legally binding.
